In the roaster’s words
This coffee is from Evin Joel Moreno - a young, innovative, inspiring producer from Santa Barbara, Honduras. One of three in the collection of SL28 coffees from Evin - this is processed using the natural method. SL28 is typically found in Kenya, but found its way to Honduras after a buyer brought seeds from Kenya and gifted them to local producers to see how they would behave in a different terrain and climate. It is drought resistant and known for its fruity flavour profiles. Evin started producing SL28 in 2022 with a tiny amount to diversify his varieties, but in the following years he had increased the number of trees. Expect tasting notes of blackberry, pomegranate, dark chocolate Recommended brew methods: Espresso, filter, cafetiere, Aeropress, stovetop 100% Evin Moreno, Honduras Producer: La Montañita, Evin Joel Moreno Region: El Cedral, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara Altitude: 1600-1700 MASL Processing: Natural Varieties: SL28
