Producer Numerous smallholders in San Ignacio, Jaen, and Cutervo Farm/Mill Numerous smallholders in San Ignacio, Jaen, and Cutervo Cultivar Mixed Process Washed Location Cajamarca Altitude Mixed Harvest June 2025 Expect notes of Milk Chocolate, Orange, Yellow Plum We are thrilled to introduce La Cima, a Regional Plus lot originating from the high-altitude provinces of San Ignacio, Jaén and Cutervo in the Cajamarca department of Peru. Produced by small-scale farmers dedicated to quality, this coffee is a testament to meticulous processing. After hand-sorting for ripeness, the cherries undergo a controlled 30–40 hour fermentation before being gently washed and dried. This careful attention to detail results in a cup that is exceptionally clean and well balanced. Expect a comforting, classic profile built on deep sweetness. Notes of creamy milk chocolate and yellow plum form a rich foundation, lifted by a sparkling touch of orange acidity. It’s the perfect daily driver for anyone who enjoys a sweet, full-bodied brew.
