OUR MODERN CLASSIC Anthem Blend is our gateway into specialty coffee: familiar and easygoing, but with plenty of character. This version combines a naturally processed Mundo Novo grown by Patrícia Coelho in Mogiana, Brazil, with a bright washed coffee from Huila, Colombia. Patrícia runs her family coffee business alongside her son Pedro, an agronomist who lives on-site and oversees processing. Their two farms, Santo Antônio and São Benedito, have very different landscapes. The steeper, higher areas are carefully hand-picked, while the flatter, lower sections can be mechanically harvested. Patrícia continues to experiment with different varieties and microlots, with a focus on quality and consistency. The Colombian component comes from Bruselas in southern Huila, an exceptional coffee-growing region surrounded by mountains and national parks. A blend of Castillo, Caturra and Bourbon varieties, the coffee is carefully processed and sun-dried on covered patios and raised beds. Together, the two coffees create a sweet, balanced cup with creamy milk chocolate, juicy grapefruit and refreshing white melon. Anthem makes a bold, fruity espresso, a full-bodied filter and becomes beautifully smooth and creamy with milk.
