In the roaster’s words
Anthem Blend is our gateway into specialty coffee: easygoing and familiar at first sip, yet layered with enough complexity to keep even the curious (and the seasoned) coming back for more. Sweet, balanced and seriously versatile, it shines as espresso while holding its own as a full-bodied filter or French press. This current version brings together three coffees from two standout origins: Brazil and Colombia - combined for comfort, sweetness and a vibrant, fruit-forward finish. In the cup, Anthem is all about balance with character. Expect a subtle floral aroma, followed by milk chocolate , grapefruit -like acidity and a lively tropical sweetness . As espresso, it’s a full-on fruit bomb. In milk, it turns rich and indulgent with creamy, milkshake-like vibes. This is the blend you reach for every day, but it never feels ordinary. This is Anthem Blend. MORE ABOUT THE COFFEE For the foundation of Anthem, we start in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region with a naturally processed regional blend sourced through Emma and Bruna of Bossa Coffee . Bruna Costa, who comes from a family of coffee producers in Minas Gerais , works closely with her family’s farms and partners with Expocacer - a large export company representing over 700 producers across the region. As a regional blend of multiple local varietals, this component delivers a classic Brazilian profile: chocolatey on the nose, with dark berry -like sweetness, mellow citrusy fruit notes, and a whole-nut finish with a clean, pleasant aftertaste. To complement this, we turn to Colombia specifically the renowned coffee-growing department of Huila . Known for its unique agroclimatic conditions, Huila is bordered by mountain ranges and shaped by the Magdalena River, making it a key player in Colombian coffee production. From the southern part of Huila, in Bruselas (within the municipality of Pitalito), we source a coffee often referred to as “ Andino .” This area, bordered by national parks, is one of the most productive zones in the Andes region. This lot is a blend of Castillo, Caturra and Bourbon varieties, sun-dried on parabolic covered patios and raised beds. The result is a coffee shaped by its exceptional environment, bringing together floral notes, fruit flavours like blackberry , plum and green grape , and a vibrant sweetness of tropical fruits such as lime , starfruit , passion fruit and tangerine .
