In the roaster’s words
The Iconic range exhibits excellence in coffee; an unparalleled sensory experience which to us defines the possibilities of the beverage we all know and love --- The coffee Origin: Mbare, Rwanda Producer: Rwamatamu Variety: Red Bourbon Process: Natural Altitude: 1800masl - The Producer For our latest release we’re excited to introduce Musaza Lot 3, a beautifully expressive natural from Rwamatamu Coffee in Mbare, Rwanda. Founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Gaston Rutaganda and Laetitia Mukantwaza, Rwamatamu was built around more than producing exceptional coffee. Their work focuses on creating opportunity for farming communities through training, fairer employment and long-term investment in coffee. Musaza is a Red Bourbon grown at around 1,800 masl. After harvest, the cherries are carefully hand sorted, spread across raised beds and turned throughout a slow 26–33 day drying process before being milled in Kigali. That patience comes through in the cup. Rich blackcurrant and cassis lead the way, lifted by delicate Parma Violet, while creamy milk chocolate truffle brings depth, sweetness and a beautifully velvety finish. Expect a vibrant, fruit-forward natural with serious depth and a long, polished finish. Let us know what you are tasting @saintespresso
