Tasting notes
In the roaster’s words
Our new standing homecoming coffee. An elegant patio dried natural coffee from the Marsala region of Honduras, grown at 1300masl, produced by COMSA. COMSA, Café Orgánico Marcala S.A., began in 2001 when 61 farmers in Marcala, La Paz, Honduras, decided to change the way they worked. Faced with low prices and dependency on synthetic inputs, they committed to organic farming and sought access to speciality markets. From those early days, COMSA has grown to more than 1,600 members and is now recognised as one of Honduras’ most influential cooperatives. This lot is comprised of Catuai, Caturra, Pacas and Parainema and showcases a beautiful round body, with notes of sweet cherries, pecan and panela.
